How Do I Know I Will Be Receiving My Pet Back?

We have two options for clients who wish to receive their pet’s ashes back: The private or the exclusive. When you choose the exclusive option, your pet is the only one in the chamber, so there is no chance that the ashes will be mixed with those of another pet. When the private option is chosen, your pet is cremated with others, but is placed separately within the large cremation chamber. Meticulous care is taken by experienced employees to assure pets are kept separate and no ashes are mixed.

How Long Does the Process Take?

The actual cremation process takes 3-4 hours; however, it may take up to five business days to receive your pet’s ashes. In the case of extenuating circumstances, we can have your pet’s ashes ready sooner.

What If I Don’t Want the Ashes Returned?

For clients who do not wish to receive their pet’s ashes, we offer the Ceremonious cremation. When this option is chosen, your pet will be cremated with others. The ashes will be spread over the wildlife park located next to Happy Tails Dog park.

Can I Be Present During the Process?

Some clients wish to watch their pet being placed in the chamber. This is possible, but must be scheduled ahead of time to coordinate the running of our crematorium with your schedule. Clients are welcome to wait in our receiving room; however, be aware that process may take up to four hours.

Do I Need an Appointment?

No appointment is necessary. We are open 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. If there is no one in the office when you arrive, the staff at Laurel East Veterinary Service, which is located next door, can assist you.

Can My Pet Be Picked Up At My Home?

We do offer pick up service in the Laurel/Billings area. The cost for this is $25 during our normal business hours. Additional charges will apply for weekend and after-hours service.
